Petra Obermayr | sinn:raum
For Petra Obermayr, I developed a holistic brand identity for her psychotherapy practice sinn:raum – spanning the logo, business stationery, and website.
The goal was to present psychotherapy from a different perspective: not clinical, heavy, or distant, but warm, human, and approachable.
The central challenge was to create a design system that feels authentically like Petra: calm, clear, empathetic, and professional. The visual identity creates a sense of protected space – one that builds trust and gently invites people to take the first step. The UX writing follows the same principle: the language is sensitive, clear, and reassuring, offering guidance without adding emotional weight.
The logo was developed in several variations and mutations to reflect the different areas and themes within psychotherapy. This creates a flexible visual system that remains recognizable while allowing room for nuance.
The key visual is built around abstract mountain landscapes. They stand for clarity, hope, and new perspectives – while also reflecting Petra’s personal passion for nature, hiking, and the mountains. Combined with soft colors, subtle textures, and a reduced, airy layout, the result is a brand identity that carefully balances warmth with professionalism.
The website translates this attitude into a clear digital experience. It gently guides visitors through the offer, process, and first point of contact, turning what can often feel like a difficult topic into an accessible and trusting entry point.
