In collaboration with Evana Designs and Vanguard Tactics, we developed and launched a completely new B2C online shop on the Shopify platform – a decisive step in the company’s move into the consumer market. From the initial concept to final implementation, we played a key role in optimising processes to create a shop that is both technologically robust, scalable and functionally outstanding.
One of the project’s most innovative features was the integration of AI to manage first-line customer support, significantly reducing the workload for the service team. Additionally, a fully automated blacklist check for new customers was custom developed, enhancing both the security and efficiency of the ordering process – this manual process, took one employee before 10h each week and is now fully automated.
Equally important was the focus on usability and design: intuitive navigation, clear structure, and engaging product presentation highlight the premium quality of the product range. Seamless integration of payment systems and shipping options ensures a smooth and reliable shopping experience from start to finish.
The result is more than just a new online shop: within the first year, Harder & Steenbeck not only established a successful foothold in the B2C market but also achieved sales in the millions. This project demonstrates how thoughtful design, advanced technology, and process optimisation can come together to create a future-proof platform that delivers real value to both customers and the business.
